Women reservation ...a novel disguising political stunt.Those who support it or those who are against it don't know how it will help our country...
we talk about women being oppressed in our society.but where?? India has come off ages when women was just an object of honor for the family.now they are being provided with ample opportunities to succeed.In rural areas where the are the most oppressed sex,already the govt has given them 50% reservation.

But here at the national level where politics is just done with money and power a common women can't come to fore to fight against their affluent counterparts.So i feel,this idea of women reservation will only benefit the better half of the incumbent politicians and not the women of the Indian society as a whole.
The bottomline is that women reservation is a mere political Stunt (rather I will call it tokenism) to show that govt. is doing something for people, for gender equality.
Yeah..i feel you are right in saying that it is just a political stunt...

ya in some respect u are correct.. but if the reservation is given to the right and the needful women in the society, once then the utility of this bill will be justified. So the observers of our constitution have to ensure this...
